We even get a glimpse of Sony's upcoming portable gaming device – Vita.
This starts off like a Sony commercial, which may turn some folks away before they get to the ass-kicking Milla Jovavich. I'm not sure why Sony wanted to go in this direction, but it really doesn't do a good job of setting up the trailer. Â If you go back in time for the first film, Michelle Rodriguez played a role in that film before meeting her demise to the Zombies spawned from Umbrella employees in Raccoon City. Â She's reprising her role, although it may be difficult to recall if you haven't watched the film series from the beginning. Â Thank me later.
Resident Evil seems to be all the craze again these days.  The trailer to the highly anticipated 'Resident Evil / Biohazard 6' game has hit the web not too long ago and looks amazing. Just what exactly is Sony cooking up for us for the film, I'm not sure.  The trailer shows us a four-legged creature chasing our heroes and another scene has a sky filled with flying machines straight out of the 'Terminator'/'Avatar' films.  For fans of RE4, the video game, the character Ada Wong makes an appearance in the trailer in the exact same dress she wore in the game.  No doubt the wardrobe choice is to allow fans to recognize who she is in the trailer.  I hope the film doesn't get too out-of-hand with its plot since it's strayed from the video game plot.  Remember Sony, most of the folks watching your films are fans of the game.
