Jason is a cool guy. We used to party with him back in the day during his Baywatch Hawaii days and just before he hooked up with Lisa Bonet. My brother ran into him in Hollywood, he still remembers our party days. I don’t think getting Jason to do a spot for us would be a problem.

My roommate knows Jason Mamoa, has been to his house, and picked fruit from his yard. He was trying to get him to party with us during Comic Con, but obviously he had too many commitments with GoT and the new Conan coming out.

I’d rather he worked on something similar to ‘The Island’. An original IP with all the Bay explosions and a new story. He should also explore making a third ‘Bad Boys’ movie even though the second was a box office meh.

Cave Story is an interesting animal. It doesn’t quite carry the Metroid-Vania style, but it definitely has a twist of it. Cave Story to me was more of a tribute to NES greatness than any specific style. It bit everything, even the bits. Cave Story is on my list for Game-Aware but it seems to be gaining so much popularity I’ll have to wait until next year!

Bear is dropping the ‘Metroid-Vania’ genre no doubt created by Super Metroid and carried on by Symphony of the Night. I think that’s one of the reasons why I enjoyed Cave Story as a download, except it played a lot like Contra with excellent controls. It needed 10 time more depth though.

Jessica Chobot made the cut. I used to follow the Nintendo Voice Chat podcast back in the Casa, Bozon, Harris days on IGN. She used to frequent that podcast and is doing really well on G4 apparently. It’s no secret that she’s a huge ME fan…and now is able to do voice work for it. Not bad.

Definitely. The acceptance of gaming is long way out but I think that gaming companies like Nintendo and HAL marketing to young females will go a long way.

What’s amazing is that he took the chant from the trailer and seamlessly integrated a syncopated beat that mimmicks the chant. The footage was impressive and very well paced and skilled. The edit timing was pure genius.I like how he ended it as well.
