Future of video games: Play with your muscles

Advancer Technologies has brought us the future in gaming, playing with your muscles! So instead with the player using his/her phalanges, but by you using your forearms and biceps! Yes, were a long way from whole body simulation, but this is quite a start! Advancer Technologies has devised a “USB Biofeedback Game Controller”, a controller that reads electromyographic output of certain unique muscles to play Super Mario Bros. 3.

As you can see, the man’s right forearm controls the classic A button to jump, his right bicep moves Mario right, up and down, and his left bicep moves him left. Advancer uses the same concept for the USB Biofeedback Game Controller as with devices in treating patients with neuromuscular disease or injury. Isn’t that cool? I wonder how long it will be before we can use our whole body in video games? Skynet is coming I tell ya’!
